Former Major League Baseball player Shawn Green has slashed the price on his sprawling Irvine, CA estate to $10.9 million, a 38% reduction from the original listing price of $17.5 million back in 2009. Green is not the only one feeling the pinch of decreasing home values. The Irvine real estate market is still declining 2.4 percent year-over-year, and 29.2 percent of homes were sold for a loss in December 2010.
